High Spirits at the Women in Reflection High Tea
Over 230 Perth women gathered at Fraser’s Restaurant in Kings Park on April 9 to partake in a sumptuous High Tea being held by Women in Reflection to raise funds for a specialised Children’s Domestic Violence service at Anglicare WA.
Guests, including Mrs Julie Michael, were treated to a sumptuous morning tea, including champagne, while overlooking the beautiful Perth city skyline.
Hosted by Fraser's, the room was beautifully 'created' by Wayne Stubbs Flowers, with stunning floral arrangements complimented by purple and yellow tablecloths – the colours of Women in Reflection. One very lucky lady won an exquisite 18 carat gold pendant featuring a white/pink south sea cultured pearl from Linneys, with door prizes including a limited edition bottle of Mo?t decorated with Swarovski crystals from Mo?t Hennessy Australia and an Aroma Therapy Experience Package from Affinity Day Spa in Cottesloe.
Women in Reflection was formed by Anglicare WA in response to a critical need to provide vulnerable Western Australian children with services for which there is an urgent requirement but no current funding.
This passionate group of women including Patron Cheryl Herft, Dr Jane Freemantle, Denise Satterley, Libby Youd, Tamara Gibbs and Sue Trahar, are leading the way to establish a service for children who are witness to or direct victims of family and domestic violence.
As the first official event held by the Women in Reflection committee, the High Tea provided a fantastic opportunity not only to raise money, but also to create awareness of this critically important cause.
The Women in Reflection committee would like to thank the following individuals and organisations for their very generous donations and support of the High Tea.
Richard Clarke from Bowtell Clarke & Yole Advertising & Marketing, Fraser's Restaurant, Linneys, Wayne Stubbs Flowers, Satterley Property Group, Jill Hoad from Mo?t Hennessy Australia, Moeschi on Collin and Affinity Day Spa in Cottesloe.
