Business

Anglicare WA works with the corporate community to identify and cultivate partnership opportunities that satisfy both our welfare needs and our partner's social responsibility and business needs.

We are continually seeking to build additional corporate partnerships and we are always pleased to talk with businesses that approach us with ideas for collaboration.

Examples of ways that some companies are helping us already, and ways we are seeking assistance include:

Inspired Futures

Inspired Futures provides a unique opportunity for businesses to work with Anglicare WA towards providing services for which there is an urgent community need but no funding.

Sponsorship

Each year Anglicare WA holds a number of major events including The Op Shop Ball, and the annual Corporate Breakfast held at the Hyatt Recengy Perth. Several sponsorship opportunities are available.

Payroll Giving

Payroll or Workplace Giving by management and employees of a business is a great way to contribute to a cause whilst receiving an immediate tax benefit each time a donation is made.

A group of staff giving a small amount every month can make a big difference. Payroll Giving provides Anglicare WA with a stable income that enables us to plan with more certainty and has low administrative costs which means more of your donation can be directed towards helping people in need. Payroll giving is subject to the employer's agreement.

Food, Toy and Blanket Appeals

Each winter Anglicare WA supports thousands of families who approach us seeking food, warm blankets and assistance to help get their lives back on track. Businesses and their staff can make a huge difference to the lives of these vulnerable people through donations of non-perishable food and blankets. The Winter Appeal runs from mid May through to the end of August.

Christmas, a time of joy for most, is sadly a time of isolation, frustration and despair for many Western Australian families. Donations of non-perishable food, and gifts for children and young people who may otherwise not receive one, are greatly appreciated leading up to Christmas each year. The Christmas Toy and Food Appeal takes place in the two months leading up to Christmas.

All our Emergency Relief operations provide a frontline response to the initial real, urgent need for aid to sustain people while we too provide support, skills and solutions so that they can begin to rebuild their lives.

Volunteer

Anglicare WA benefits greatly from the skills and enthusiasm of employees of local businesses and corporations who assist us. Many volunteers find they gain new perspective and skills after engaging in our work.

Volunteers can't always work directly with Anglicare WA 's clients but there are plenty of other very important areas where we can use help. Find out more about becoming an Anglicare WA volunteer.
