Family Housing

Family Housing provides medium to long term housing for families who are homeless, or at imminent risk of homelessness.

A family support worker visits the family each week and works alongside them to develop a support plan that is appropriate to the family's strengths, needs and goals.

Family Support Workers Assist with:

  • Advocacy and Referral
  • Budgeting
  • Homemaking skills, and
  • Transition to independent Housing

Those families who meet the required eligibility criteria will be accepted onto the Family Housing Waiting List.

  • Families must have 2 or more children in their care, and
  • Families must have support needs related to maintaining a tenancy and/or a stable family household.

The service is available throughout the Perth metropolitan area and we have 3 and 4 bedroom homes available in the suburbs of Carlisle, Girrawheen , Beechboro , Coolbellup , South Lake , Bibra Lake , Willagee and Wilson .

Agencies who wish to refer eligible clients to Family Housing can advise them to call the Family Housing Enquiry Line on 9263 2081.
