Family Housing
Family Housing provides medium to long term housing for families who are homeless, or at imminent risk of homelessness.
A family support worker visits the family each week and works alongside them to develop a support plan that is appropriate to the family's strengths, needs and goals.
Family Support Workers Assist with:
- Advocacy and Referral
- Budgeting
- Homemaking skills, and
- Transition to independent Housing
Those families who meet the required eligibility criteria will be accepted onto the Family Housing Waiting List.
- Families must have 2 or more children in their care, and
- Families must have support needs related to maintaining a tenancy and/or a stable family household.
The service is available throughout the Perth metropolitan area and we have 3 and 4 bedroom homes available in the suburbs of Carlisle, Girrawheen , Beechboro , Coolbellup , South Lake , Bibra Lake , Willagee and Wilson .
