Supported Housing Assistance Program (SHAP)
The Supported Housing Assistance Program (SHAP) provides support for Department of Housing clients who are struggling with maintaining their tenancies.
The service addresses problems in rental arrears, standards and anti-social behaviour.
We work closely with Department of Housing staff and negotiate and advocate on clients' behalf, whilst assisting with budgeting, filling in forms, showing clients how to do housekeeping and home management.
Anglicare WA 's Supported Housing Assistance Program is located in Halls Creek, Fremantle/ Kwinana /Rockingham, Mandurah , Narrogin , Bunbury /Collie, Katanning and Albany .
Department of Housing tenants should be referred by an Accommodation Manager. To find out more please contact your local or regional Department of Housing office.
