Transitional Accommodation Services
Anglicare WA provides transitional accommodation for young people to live in independent housing in the community for up to 12 months, with external support from Anglicare WA youth workers. This transitional accommodation is linked to each of our crisis accommodation services.
Transitional housing is located in Armadale , Spearwood and Rockingham. In some locations, housing is shared with another young person. Some services are also able to house young families.
Young people who enter our Transitional Accommodation are expected to undertake specific independent living skills training prior to entering the accommodation. Young people within the transitional accommodation enter into a tenancy agreement with Anglicare WA through the relevant service.
Transitional Accommodation is available for 15 - 20 year old young people who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness.
