Y-shac Transitional Accommodation Service

Anglicare WA’s Y-SHAC program provides transitional accommodation for young people in the Fremantle and Rockingham areas. This involves young people living in independent housing in the community for up to 12 months, with external support from Anglicare WA youth workers. In some locations, housing is shared with another young person, in others, young families can be housed.

Transitional Accommodation is available for 15 - 25 year old young people who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness.
Young people who enter our Transitional Accommodation are expected to undertake specific independent living skills training prior to entering the accommodation and whilst housed. Young people within the transitional accommodation enter into a tenancy agreement or License to Occupy agreement.
