Teen Triple P is an internationally renowned parenting program for every family with children aged 12 to 16 years.
Through this course parents will be supported to learn new parenting skills as well as improve existing skills. Meeting with other parents of teens can be very reassuring when you share your parenting experiences and you find other families are experiencing similar challenges.
Teen Triple P is an 8 week program with four weekly 2 hour group sessions, followed by 3 weekly phone calls, and a final 2 hour group session.
At completion of this course participants will:
- Understand the causes of teenage behaviour problems
- Learn how to develop positive relationships with their teens
- Have strategies to increase desirable teen behaviours
- Have strategies to manage problem teen behaviours, and
- Learn ways to minimise risk taking behaviours.
