Q. Where are courses held?

A. Groups are held at East Perth and Joondalup. Groups can also be held in metropolitan locations to meet the needs of your organisation.

Q. Are the Facilitators qualified?

A. All staff has relevant qualifications and are experienced facilitators who have extensive knowledge of the material they present. They have often written or developed the programs themselves.

All staff receives professional supervision and undertakes ongoing training and professional development.

Q. Am I assured of confidentiality?

A. All facilitators are bound by an Oath of Confidentiality in relation to group sessions. However, in the event that there is a threat to an individual's safety, adult or child, confidentiality may be waived.

Q. Am I expected to speak in the group?

A. The sessions usually involve some degree of participation as learning is maximised when participants are more involved. However, it is made clear from the start of sessions that everyone has a ‘right to pass.' A right to pass means that the participant may say ‘pass' and not feel the need to explain themselves. This is to ensure that those that would prefer to just listen have the freedom to do so.
