Kimberley Sexual Abuse Prevention and Support Service

The Kimberley Sexual Abuse Prevention and Support Service offers counselling to child and adult victims of sexual abuse and assault, working through trauma in a safe and supportive environment.

What is the Kimberley Sexual Abuse Prevention and Support Service?

The Kimberley Sexual Abuse Prevention and Support Service offers free counselling to child and adult victims of sexual abuse and assault. Counselling takes place in a safe environment, where victims are able to comfortably work through trauma with highly qualified counsellors.

Our counsellors also deliver group work programs and community education initiatives around sexual assault and abuse to help recognise the symptoms and effects of sexual abuse against children, and how to provide support for healing.

Clients can make enquiries and appointments over the phone (see contact details below) or be referred to the service by other agencies. Communities may request education initiatives.

Children and young people can access Kimberley Sexual Abuse Prevention and Support Service with parental, guardian or departmental permission.

Locations

Regular schedules of outreach travel in both the West and East Kimberley ensures that people in remote Aboriginal communities can use this service too. Please contact the numbers below to find out more about outreach.

Interpreters are available on request at both locations.
