What is the Mums and Dads Forever Program?

Separation is a time when many difficult decisions need to be made. Issues involving children and their needs are often difficult to resolve because of the breakdown of the relationship between parents.

The Mums & Dads Forever program helps separated parents manage conflict and act in the best interest of their children. The program has been developed to assist separated parents help their children come to terms with a different family situation and communicate in ways which keep children feeling safe and happy.

What Does the Mums and Dads Forever Program Offer?

Our program offers educational groups, counselling and information and support for separated parents.

Group Program

We offer education and support for separated parents in a small group setting. These groups are run for 2 hour sessions over a period of 8 weeks. The groups explore issues around separation and provide a learning opportunity to reduce conflict with the other parent and to minimise the impact of separation on children. You will not be involved in the same group as your ex-partner.

Individual Counselling

We also offer up to four individual sessions to parents who have attended or are attending the group program. This short term counselling provides an opportunity for the parent to work through issues identified either through the group program or during the initial appointment with the counsellor.

For further information please phone 9263 2104.
