Our community partners

Anglicare WA is proud to work with local community groups, strengthening our ability to reach out to a growing number of children, young people and families living in need within the community.

The Albany Anglican Church

Since 2010, the Albany Anglican Church has allowed us to share their state of the art facilities. Through the St John’s Centre, we provide quality services to the Albany community.

Dudley Park Primary School

Since 2014, Dudley Park Primary School has allowed us to operate the Dudley Park Child and Parent Centre from a purpose-built facility. We have been operating in the Peel region for over a decade, and through the Dudley Park Child and Parent Centre, we work with a range of community service organisations and government agencies to provide a range of services for families in the Peel region.

Family Support Network

The Family Support Network is designed to help families:

  • improve parenting skills to safely care for their children at home;
  • receive an integrated and coordinated service response to divert them from the child protection system; and
  • develop and strengthen culturally safe support networks.

Anglicare WA is proud to be part of the Family Support Network, supporting families and young people at risk.

Foodbank WA

Anglicare WA is proud to have a close partnership with Foodbank WA where we can work together to provide food support to Western Australians in need.

Personal Helpers and Mentors network

Personal Helpers and Mentors (PHaMs) support people whose lives are severely affected by a mental illness. We are recovery focussed and rely heavily on community networks and organisations. Our mentors stand alongside the people they support as they make contracts and friendships around them; a way to build community partnerships from the ground up.

Swan Alliance Communities for Children

The Swan Alliance, an equal partnership between Ngala, Mission Australia and Anglicare WA, is the Facilitating Partner delivering the Communities for Children initiative within the Swan Local Government Area with a particular focus on Altone, Bullsbrook, Ellenbrook and Midland places.

Communities for Children (CfC) is a ‘place-based’ initiative of the Australian Department of Social Services.  There are seven Communities for Children sites in Western Australia and the initiative is implemented in each place by a Facilitating Partner whose core business is to: “Develop and facilitate a ‘whole of community’ approach to support and enhance early childhood development and wellbeing for children from birth to 12 years”.

As part of this responsibility, the Facilitating Partner sub-contracts other organisations, known as Community Partners, to deliver services that contribute to achieving this core role.
