Volunteering supports your community, grows your skills, and makes you feel great! Knowing you are donating your time to supporting those in need is a wonderful feeling.
There are many reasons why people volunteer with us. Some have said that it helps them build relationships, support those in the community, and gain confidence in the workplace and learn new skills. There isn't much to lose by volunteering!
Volunteer opportunities will arise throughout the year to help support one of our six Op Shops. Volunteers will be responsible for organising stock, assisting customers, and helping fellow staff, all whilst working in a supportive environment.
If you chose to volunteer with our Op Shops we will provide you with training, induction and support. You will have the full support of our Op Shop Managers and your colleagues.
Volunteers are required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all privileged information, both written and verbal. This applies whether the information involves a paid staff member, volunteer, client or other people, or partner agency.
National Police Clearance
Volunteers are required to provide references and must hold up-to-date National Police Checks.
