Believe Newsletter

Welcome to the 2019 edition of our Believe newsletter! The Autumn 2019 edition showcases some of the transformational work Anglicare WA has embarked upon and the difference that your support is having on the Western Australian community.

Message from our CEO

Anglicare WA CEO, Mark Glasson

Now more than ever before in WA, the most vulnerable in our community need courageous advocacy on their behalf to ensure they’re not forgotten.

For more than two decades, Anglicare WA has been the voice for the voiceless, as our long-serving CEO Ian Carter AM fearlessly spoke out on their behalf. Ian ensured politicians across the political divide, business and community leaders and the media didn’t overlook their plight.

As you will be aware, Ian has recently stepped down as CEO. He leaves an incredible legacy at Anglicare WA; a legacy I am determined to build upon. We will continue to unrelentingly advocate for people experiencing homelessness, disadvantage and trauma.

However, this is something we can’t do alone. I believe the answer lies with all Western Australians. Change is only possible when the community works together to support those in need.

Thank you for your ongoing support of Anglicare WA. I look forward to connecting with you in the coming weeks, months and years and together we can lead the way in transforming lives of the most vulnerable.
