Anglicare WA is proudly supported by the Winter Appeal Committee – a philanthropic group of Perth’s most prominent and influential, committed to promoting the welfare of disadvantaged Western Australians. Each year, the Winter Appeal Committee rallies together to raise vital funds, supporting thousands across the state through Anglicare WA’s services. The Winter Appeal Committee is Anglicare WA’s longest-standing fundraising committee which has raised in excess of $2.5 million in the past decade. We are continuously inspired by their passion and sincerely grateful for their incredible support.

David Alder

David Alder
Winter Appeal Committee Co-Chairman
David is a Certified Financial Planner, Co-Founder and Director of Alder and Partners Pty Ltd. Continuing the family tradition (sixth generation) of providing financial advisory and investment management services to private clients, not for profit entities, and corporate clients, he has been employed in the Australian securities industry since 2001.

Warwick Hemsley

 

Warwick Hemsley
Winter Appeal Committee Co-Chairman
Warwick is Chairman of Hemsley Paterson and has extensive experience in the property sector, having commenced his professional career with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). Warwick served as Managing Director of Peet Limited, and was President of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (WA Division), and the Western Australia Chamber of Commerce & Industry.  Warwick’s commitment to community continues through various involvements including Chairman of the Art Gallery of Western Australia Foundation. 

Felicia Brady


Felicia Brady
Felicia is Founder and Director of FTB Design and Consult. Felicia has worked in the property and development sector for over 20 years, experienced in senior management positions for organisations including Peet Limited and Lendlease. Now running her own business, Felicia is currently working on community-led property development projects for the Department of Communities.

Ben Devenish

 

Ben Devenish
Ben is the Managing Director of Vantage Wealth. He has over 25 years experience in wealth management and business operations within the financial planning industry. He has established and managed strategic planning, project development, risk and compliance, culture and HR.

 

Mark Glasson

Mark Glasson
Chief Executive Officer
Mark has over 25 years’ experience across a range of human services. He has held senior executive positions for the Government of Western Australia and also worked in Local Government and community organisations. Mark joined Anglicare WA in October 2013 and until his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in March 2019, held responsibility for service delivery across Western Australia. Mark is a GAICD, has been the Chairperson of Shelter WA 2015-19 and is the Co-convenor of the Home Stretch WA Campaign and a member of the Ending Homelessness WA Alliance.

Bill Hassel

 

Bill Hassell AM JP
Bill is Deputy Mayor and Councillor of the City of Nedlands and is a lawyer by profession. In the 1970s Bill became the State Member for Cottesloe in the Western Australian Parliament, subsequently a Minister of the Crown, then Deputy Leader and Leader of the Opposition in the 1980s. Bill is a Life Member of the Liberal Party. Bill became the Western Australian Agent in Britain and Europe from 1994 to 1997 and his work has been recognised by several honours including the Order of Australia and the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Brendon Brodie-Hall

 

Brendon Brodie-Hall
Brendon was appointed General Manager of Rio Tinto - Dampier Salt in November 2018. In his eleven years with the company Brendon has worked across iron ore, salt and energy business units in Karratha (6 years), Brisbane (3 years) and Perth (2 years, ongoing) spanning across operational, commercial and project roles. Brendon holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil & Construction) from Curtin University and an MBA from the University of Queensland.

Bob established Perman and Associates, a dedicated Commercial Leasing and Sales organisation in 2002. With over 35 years of experience in the Commercial Agency Sector including property management, commercial, industrial and retail sales, leasing, auctioneering and advisory services, Bob is respected as one of the most experienced Commercial property consultants in Western Australia. 

Geoff Potter

 

Geoff Potter
Geoff is a Property Consultant and Adviser and set up his own consulting and advisory business Capital APM in 2006 following a successful 30 year career as a principal in commercial, industrial and residential agency Burgess Rawson and prior to that in residential property with Airey Potter Davies (now Gordon Davies Real Estate). Geoff has been involved in managing and building several successful and highly profitable businesses. Geoff is experienced in planning and implementing organisational change as well as providing advice to enhance the value of business and property assets.

Jemma Sanderson

 

Jemma Sanderson
Jemma is one of Australia’s leading advisors in relation to SMSFs and is currently Director of Cooper Partners Financial Services, heading up their SMSF specialist service. Jemma provides strategic advice on SMSFs, estate planning and wealth management to clients, as well as technical support to accounting, legal and financial planning groups. Jemma is experienced in developing dynamic and tailored wealth management and protection strategies for high net worth clients. Jemma was named as the 2017 SMSF Advisor of the Year at the inaugural National Women in Finance awards.

Monique Ridley

 



Monique Ridley
Monique is a results-driven and highly effective commercial and project management professional who has a career spanning 25 years with corporations such as Nokia, Microsoft, Westpac and Telstra.  Her passion for suicide prevention, mental health and well-being and social enterprises has seen Monique dedicate personal and professional time while living in Australia and abroad (UK and America) to these causes. Monique holds Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the Australian Graduate School of Management (Sydney) and completed the Procurement Executive Program from Melbourne Business School.
