About
The Oak Program is designed for young people and their families in the Albany region who are affected by family and domestic violence (FDV). It targets youth-at-risk, including young perpetrators of domestic violence, regardless of gender. The program aims to provide early intervention and diversionary support to address and prevent FDV.
The Oak Program is funded by the Police Community Services Fund, which means there is no direct cost to participants. This ensures that the services are accessible to all eligible individuals and families in need.
Due to high demand, there may be a waitlist for some services. The program staff will work to prioritize cases based on urgency and need.
