Advocating for Meaningful Change
Everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive.
Anglicare WA has supported Western Australians for 50 years, and our advocacy supports creating a fair and just Western Australia where everyone can thrive. This means challenging unfair systems and structures that prevent people from thriving.
Through collaboration, research, campaigning, and innovative solutions, we influence social policy, shift public narratives, and engage decision-makers to address the systemic and structural issues that shape people’s lives, such as poverty and low income, housing affordability, gender inequality, racism and discrimination, and gaps in essential services.
Guided by community voices and grounded in lived experience, our advocacy is anchored in principles of fairness, justice, dignity, and inclusion, making Anglicare WA a credible and trusted voice for a better, fairer Western Australia.

Through our advocacy, we are committed to creating economic justice and fairness, ensuring everyone has a home, seeking freedom from family and domestic violence and abuse, and supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander recognition and justice through the principles of truth-telling, listening, healing, and valuing Culture.
