The Family is Forever service offers a supportive, inclusive program designed to help families navigate the challenges of separation or divorce. Supporting separated families and others who care for children, when conflict is impacting on the children in their lives.
Research shows it is not separation itself that is harmful to children, but ongoing parental conflict. As a matter of fact, children will be impacted by conflict between anyone caring for them. Conflict can affect the emotional and psychological development and well-being of children.
The program aims to reduce conflict, avoid legal escalation, and support parents in developing cooperative parenting strategies that prioritise the best interests of their children. Through counselling, education, and case work, the program helps parents understand the impact of conflict on children and equips them with tools to communicate more constructively and manage parenting arrangements effectively.
Delivered online, in person or both.
