Kimberley Sexual Abuse Prevention and Support Service (KSAPSS)

About

Kimberley Sexual Abuse Prevention and Support Service (KSAPSS) will provide support services and activities for children, young people and adult victims and survivors of sexual abuse or sexual assault. KSAPSS aims to reduce the incidence, and manage the impact, of sexual abuse and assault, and the risk of sexual abuse.

KSAPSS offers free counselling to child and adult victims of sexual abuse and assault, and at risk of sexual abuse. The counselling services take place in a safe environment, where survivors are able to work through trauma in a supported and secure space with highly qualified counsellors.

The service receives referrals from the Kimberley Joint Response Team, which is a partnership that includes WA Police Force and Communities and provides proactive outreach to Kimberley communities to prevent and respond to child sexual abuse.
