About
The Metro Community Postvention Coordinator (MCPC) Program is here to support organisations, groups, and communities after a suicide. We understand that during this difficult time it's not always clear where to turn or what support is available.
Our Program Coordinators work with local services to make sure support is coordinated, respectful and tailored to each situation. We aim to:
- help people understand postvention support and how it can help;
- share compassionate approaches to supporting individuals and groups;
- make it easier to find and access the right services; and
- bring services together to respond in a coordinated way within communities.
You don’t need to have all the answers before reaching out, we’re here to help you take the next step and understand the supports that may be helpful following a suicide.
