Young Hearts is a family and domestic violence counselling service for children and young people aged 5-18.
We provide a safe and supportive environment where young people can learn to build healthy relationships and develop skills to thrive in the future. The program is delivered free of charge and takes place over six to eight weeks.

Counselling
Counselling services provide professional support to individuals dealing with personal, emotional, or psychological issues. Counsellors offer a safe space to talk, helping people understand their feelings and develop coping strategies.Emotional support
Emotional support services offer a listening ear and compassionate assistance to individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. This can include counselling, support groups, and helplines.Resilience Building
Resilience building services help individuals develop the ability to cope with and recover from challenges. This can include workshops, counselling, and activities that promote mental and emotional strength.Children (typically 6-11years old).
This service is suitable for children aged 6 to 11 who may be having a tough time, such as feeling worried, sad, angry, or struggling at home or school. We help them to feel safe, talk about their feelings, and learn new ways to cope and grow. If your child often feels upset or overwhelmed, this service could be right for them. Children to be 5 years - 13years (Primary school aged).
Children must be 5 years or older to access services or join the waitlist, with primary school-aged victim-survivors of FDV eligible as primary clients.
