This year’s theme, Impact Amplified, set the perfect stage for our very own Melissa Batchelor and Jacqueline Chambers. As featured speakers, they each dove deep into their areas of expertise, showcasing the leadership, insight, and excellence that define them as standouts in their fields.
Melissa explored Individual Giving, taking attendees through the journey of "Choose Your Warrior", Anglicare WA's new regular giving program, which was ambitiously launched with face-to-face fundraising – something we'd never done before – and created a campaign that truly resonated with people.
Jacqueline delved into her specialty in Corporate Partnerships, sharing how thoughtful planning and cross-team collaboration can transform fragmented communication into a single, powerful narrative. Drawing on over a decade of experience with global brands, we're so proud of Jacqueline and her ability to build strategic, story-led partnerships that create real social change.
We’re also thrilled to celebrate Bec Stott, our General Manager of Philanthropy, who was named FIA’s 2026 Fundraiser of the Year. As an FIA Fellow, Bec has driven exceptional fundraising growth through her strategic leadership at Anglicare WA. From securing major partnerships to significantly increasing income and building high‑performing teams, her dedication, energy, and unwavering commitment continues to inspire us all.
On top of this incredible individual honour, the entire Philanthropy team was recognised as a state winner for Fundraising Team of the Year.
We’re working toward a future where people throughout WA can truly thrive and the force behind that mission are our incredible workers, whose dedication makes it possible. It is an honour to see them shine and succeed.
Congratulations to all of the outstanding recipients of the 2026 National Awards for Excellence in Fundraising. A big thank you to FIA for another exceptional conference and to Gembridge for sponsoring this award.
