What is Private Tenancy Support?

Private Tenancy Support partners you with a housing support worker, who assists you to look for solutions to your current housing situation. The support worker will make an assessment of your needs, and develop a collaborative plan in conjunction with you to address immediate problems and create sustainable solutions.

The Service can help by:   

  • negotiating with landlords
  • mediating housing conflicts
  • helping with budgeting
  • providing support
  • providing information on Centerlink payments and benefits
  • referrals to other services

Anglicare WA hopes to prevent homelessness by providing tailored intervention strategies before housing problems become insurmountable.

Where can Private Tenancy Support be found?

The service operates in the South West Metro (inclusive of Fremantle, Cockburn, Kwinana and Rockingham areas).

How can Private Tenancy Support be accessed?

You can make an enquiry over the phone for your closest service, and if you are eligible an appointment with a support worker will be made.
