Executive Leadership

Mark Glasson
Chief Executive Officer

Mark joined Anglicare WA in October 2013 and until his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in March 2019, held responsibility for the organisation's service delivery across Western Australia. In October 2021 Mark was elected as President of WACOSS and is currently a Board Member of Anglicare Australia and Homelessness Australia.

Mark was the Chairperson of Shelter WA between 2015 and 2019 and is the Co-convenor of the Home Stretch WA Campaign and a member of the Ending Homelessness WA Alliance. Mark holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of New South Wales, a Graduate Diploma in Media Studies from Edith Cowan University is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and has over twenty-five years experience across a range of human services including service delivery to families and children, community development, public policy and services to offenders.

Mark describes himself as a committed collaborator striving to find new solutions to old problems. 

Claire Lucas
Director Innovation & Strategy

Claire has over 15 years experience in both Australia and Europe in commercial, government, and community sectors. A natural strategist, she is passionate about systems innovation, creating vision, leading and inspiring teams to look at old problems in new ways, and delivering meaningful impact in partnership with others.

Prior to joining Anglicare WA in 2019, Claire held multiple leadership roles, including Business and Innovation Strategist at The Independent Living Centre WA; consultancy roles in advocacy, policy, and service design within the NHS in London as well as a role in national research which informed and influenced social policy and funding within the disability sector in Ireland.

Claire has a BA in Economics-NUI Maynooth, HDIP in Psychology-Trinity College Dublin, and a Grad Cert in Social Impact-UWA. Claire has volunteered on various local community non-profit boards including the Brent Advisory Service in London and L’Arche Perth. Claire is also a member of 100 Women Perth.

Mark Fuderer
Director Corporate Services

Mark joined Anglicare WA in August 2020 as Director Corporate Services. A qualified accountant and governance specialist, Mark worked in a range of senior commercial positions in Australia and England for 20 years before his passion for people and community lead him to shift his focus to West Australia’s Community Services sector in 2011.

Mark’s previous roles as Corporate Service Executive at Uniting WA, and CFO at Baptistcare WA and St John Ambulance, have given him significant experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in large, local not-for-profit organisations. At Anglicare WA, Mark’s portfolio includes the management of strategy and operational outcomes in areas including Finance, Technology, Fleet & Facilities, and Risk & Compliance.

His professional background, along with his strong personal alignment with Anglicare WA’s purpose, vision and values make Mark a valued member of the Executive team.

Philippa Boldy
Director Services

Philippa has over 20 years experience in the Western Australian community services sector, focussing on youth work, youth justice, homelessness, community development, outreach and mental health service delivery and leadership.

Her career has included multiple leadership positions at Anglicare WA, teaching and training as well as community-based consulting. She is passionate about creating lasting positive social impact and addressing root causes of entrenched social problems.

Philippa holds a Bachelor of Social Work, a Graduate Diploma in Advanced Social Work Practice, Diploma Management and a Graduate Certificate in Social Impact.

Kathryn Laferla
Director, People & Culture

Kathryn is a senior level People and Culture leader with more than 20 years experience in retail, mining and construction, public sector, and not-for-profit organisations. Throughout her career, Kathryn has aligned herself with purpose-driven organisations who demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion at all levels, including Northern Land Council, a large-scale Aboriginal Land Council in the Northern Territory and Good Sammy Enterprises, a major disability employment service provider in Western Australia.

Kathryn's professional experience is complemented with academic achievements and credentials which include a Graduate Certificate in Leadership (Curtin), Master of Business Administration (Curtin) and a Graduate Certificate in Counselling (ECU). Kathryn has obtained her Senior HR Leader Certification through the Australian Human Resource Institute (AHRI) and has been on the judging panel for the AHRI Diversity and Inclusion Awards two years running. Kathryn has also been on a number of sector working groups and committees, including for the NDS, CCIWA and DWTD.

With a personal passion for better access to mental health support in our community, Kathryn is deeply committed to Anglicare WA's purpose and nurturing an inclusive and caring culture, where our exceptional staff feel engaged and empowered to grow and drive impact.

Leone Cottam-Williams
Director, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Engagement

Leone is passionate about reconciliation, education, justice, child protection, celebrating diversity and inclusion for all. Strategic communications, education expertise and people skills are strengths of Leone’s that are utilised across diverse sectors and industries. Leone is purpose driven and uses her servant leadership along with communications, design and teaching skills to drive positive outcomes, focusing on advancing reconciliation, building relationships, learning and making the world a better place!

Leone recently joined Anglicare WA from Reconciliation WA where she was Education Manager.

She is currently a Board Member of Bringing Them Home WA, Reconciliation Advisory Committee Member at Early Childhood Australia WA, Committee Member of Kwopertok Yorga Alumi Working Group with the Western Australian Aboriginal Leadership Institute (WAALI) and an International Advisory Committee Member for Virtues Project International.
